Najlepszy tenisista w historii wielkich szlemów, Novak Djoković, rozstaje się ze swoim dotychczasowym trenerem, Goranem Ivaniševiciem. Serb poinformował o tym za pośrednictwem swoich social mediów.

Zaskakująca decyzja

Obaj panowie współpracowali ze sobą od 2018 roku. Od tamtej pory popularny „Nole” wygrał aż 12 turniejów wielkoszlemowych, a więc połowę z całego dorobku swojej kariery. Serb nieznacznie wyprzedza pod tym względem Rafaela Nadala i Rogera Federera.

Ostatni tytuł wielkoszlemowy „Nole” zdobył jesienią ubiegłego roku, pokonując w finale US Open Daniłła Miedwiediewa. W 2024 nie imponował jednak formą. W półfinale Australian Open przegrał z Jannikiem Sinnerem, zaś w Indian Wells sensacyjnie poległ przeciwko znacznie niżej notowanemu Luce Nardiemu.

Jak na razie brak jest informacji na temat tego kto będzie następcą Ivaniševicia na stanowisku trenera Djokovicia.
