Wydawało się, że Stefano Pioli po sezonie opuści AC Milan po zakończeniu obecnego sezonu. Jednak z informacji Daniela Longo wynika, że włoski szkoleniowiec ma ciągle szansę na dłuższą pracę na San Siro. Musi spełnić jeden warunek.

Stefano Pioli przejął stery Milanu w 2019 roku. Doświadczony szkoleniowiec zdobył z drużyną mistrzostwo Włoch i wprowadził “Rossonerich” do rozgrywek Champions League. Obecny sezon jednak nie przebiega do końca po myśli mediolańskiego zespołu. AC Milan odpadł z Ligi Mistrzów, natomiast w Serie A nie ma właściwie żadnych szans na tytuł, który najpewniej trafi w ręce Interu. Tym samym długo już spekulowano na temat pożegnania 58-latka po zakończeniu bieżącego sezonu. W ostatnich dniach pozycja trenera zaczęła się jednak zmieniać.
