Jose Mourinho na początku 2024 roku został zwolniony z AS Romy. Miejsce Portugalczyka zajął Daniele De Rossi, co wyszło zespołowi na dobre. Z tej zmiany zadowolony był kapitan, Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Daniele De Rossi przyćmił Jose Mourinho

Zatrudnienie Daniele De Rossiego na stanowisku trenera, okazało się doskonałym wyborem. Włoski szkoleniowiec zdołał z AS Romą awansować do ćwierćfinału Ligi Europy. Dobre wyniki w Serie A, ze średnią 2,23 punktu na spotkanie, także sprawiły że zespół poszybował w górę tabeli. Z zatrudnienia Daniele De Rossiego zadowolony jest kapitan, Lorenzo Pellegrini, który odżył pod wodzą nowego trenera. Z jego wypowiedzi dla stacji DAZN, można wywnioskować, że współpraca z Jose Mourinho nie układała się pomyślnie.

– Brakowało mi przez ostatnie półtora roku swobody na boisku. Potrzebuję jej aby móc czytać grę i znajdować odpowiednie miejsca. Teraz jestem w centrum gry i czuję się szczęśliwy, bo odnalazłem siebie na nowo – przyznał Lorenzo Pellegrini.
