FC Andorra, klub, którego właścicielem jest były legendarny obrońca Barcelony oraz reprezentacji Hiszpanii, Gerard Pique, poinformował za pośrednictwem social mediów, że zatrudnił nowego trenera. Został nim Ferran Costa.

Młodość pomoże w utrzymaniu?

Nowy szkoleniowiec Andorry ma zaledwie 29 lat. Jak do tej pory w swojej trenerskiej karierze prowadził dwie drużyny: CE Manresę oraz Badalonę Futur. Oba kluby występują w niższych ligach hiszpańskich. Na stanowisku trenera Andorry Costa zastąpił Toniego Astorgano, który z kolei był jedynie tymczasowym menedżerem, po zwolnieniu 43-letniego Edera Sarabii (dokonano tego po porażce 0:1 z Cartageną).

Klub Gerarda Pique walczy o utrzymanie w LaLiga HyperMotion. Obecnie zgromadził on 32 punkty i do bezpiecznej strefy traci 2 oczka. Do końca sezonu pozostało jeszcze 9 kolejek, dlatego wszystko jest jeszcze możliwe. 29-letni Ferran Costa staje więc przed życiową szansą, aby utrzymać klub legendarnego obrońcy w lidze, czym na pewno zapracuje na niemałą podwyżkę oraz na swoje nazwisko w przyszłości, już po opuszczeniu Andorry.
