Arkadiusz Milik w ostatnim czasie delikatnie mówiąc nie błyszczy formą. Od pucharowego meczu z Frosinone, który miał miejsce 11 stycznia nie strzelił gola aż do dzisiejszego spotkania z Atalantą.

Atalanta to bardzo silna drużyna, która w ostatnim czasie przypomina ten zespół, który kilka sezonów temu był dwukrotnie trzecią drużyną ligi i docierał do ćwierćfinału Champions League. Drużyna Gian Piero Gasperiniego postawiła na Allianz Stadium piłkarzom Starej Damy twarde warunki. Arkadiusz Milik jednak potrafił znaleźć sposób na swoich rywali i w 70. minucie wyprowadził swój zespół na prowadzenie. 5 minut później opuścił murawę, a jego drużyna zremisowała całe spotkania 2:2.

Remis sprawił, że Juventus spadł na trzecie miejsce w tabeli kosztem AC Milanu, który w tej kolejce skromnie pokonał na San Siro Empoli (1:0). Atalanta jest piąta i ciągle walczy o miejsce gwarantujące grę w przyszłym sezonie w rozgrywkach Champions League. Natomiast Arkadiusz Milik bardzo dobrze wykorzystał otrzymaną szansę i w końcu się przełamał. Był to jego trzeci gol w tym sezonie Serie A, a szósty licząc także Coppa Italia. Najważniejsze dla niego to z pewnością zachowanie ciągłości, w której w ostatnim czasie brakuje.
