MKOL podjął decyzję ws. sportowców z Rosji i Białorusi

Sportowcy z Rosji i Białorusi nie zaprezentują się na ceremonii otwarcia Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Paryżu. Międzynarodowy Komitet Olimpijski przekazał oficjalny komunikat.

Ceremonia otwarcia Igrzysk Olimpijskich bez Rosji i Białorusi

Komitet Wykonawczy MKOl, który obradował w Lozannie, zdecydował o wykluczeniu sportowców z Rosji i Białorusi w trakcie ceremonii otwarcia Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Paryżu. We Francji olimpijczycy ze wspomnianych krajów będą występować pod neutralną flagą i bez hymnu.

Wcześniej potwierdzono, że ceremonia rozpocznie się 26 lipca o godzinie 19:30. Co ciekawe, po raz pierwszy impreza odbędzie się poza stadionem. Będzie mieć miejsce wzdłuż Sekwany. W informacji podano, że na Igrzyska Olimpijskie kwalifikację otrzyma około 36 rosyjskich oraz 22 białoruskich reprezentantów.
