Alan w wywiadzie z Hubertem Mściwujewskim potwierdził, że miał walczyć w walce wieczoru Prime Show MMA 8, a jego rywalem miał być Kasjusz „Don Kasjo” Życiński.

Walką wieczoru gali Prime Show MMA 8 będzie starcie Kasjusza „Don Kasjo” Życińskiego z Arkadiuszem Tańculą. Walka ta została ogłoszona na pierwszej konferencji, lecz jak się okazuje plany były inne. Pierwotnie to Alan Kwieciński miał zawalczyć z Kasjuszem w boksie, co potwierdził sam, następującymi słowami:

– Tak, to ja miałem się bić właśnie z Kasjuszem w walce wieczoru. No niestety nie doszło do tego pojedynku. […] Rehabilitowałem tę nogę i chcę jak najszybciej wejść do klatki. Nie biję się już od września i jestem po prostu głodny walki. […] Miała to być formuła boksu i miało to być na Prime. Mam nadzieję, że pojedynek się w przyszłości odbędzie.
