Jak podał Jakub Balcerzak na swoich mediach społecznościowych. Wilfredo Leon od przyszłego sezonu będzie zawodnikiem Bogdanka LUK Lublin. Kontrakt z zawodnikiem został podpisany, brakuje tylko oficjalnego potwierdzenia ze strony klubu.

Tydzień temu informowała o tym Sara Kalisz na łamach TVP Sport. Spekulowało się o takim transferze od dłuższego czasu. Jednak nie był on na początku taki pewny jak jest teraz. Na ten moment transfer 30-latka do Polski wydaje się niemal przesądzony. Formalnie współpraca ponoć ma zostać ogłoszona po świętach wielkanocnych.

Według mojej wiedzy, wszystkie szczegóły umowy, pomiędzy klubem a Leonem, zostały już ustalone, a kontrakt podpisany.

Leon rzekomo podpisał z lublinianami roczny kontrakt z możliwością przedłużenia o kolejny sezon. Reprezentant Polski jest obecnie zawodnikiem Sir Susa Vim Perugia. Przed sezonem 2024/2025 łączono go między innymi z ZAKSĄ Kędzierzyn-Koźle czy przedstawicielami ligi tureckiej. Wygląda na to, że oferta lublinian okazała się najlepsza i najbardziej korzystna dla obu stron. Obecnie Bogdanka LUK Lublin zajmuje piąte miejsce w PlusLidze.
